India is considered to be the fastest growing telecom market in the world after China and Google wants in. To be precise, Google wants first bids on India’s broadband wireless access (BWA) or WiMAX opportunities in India. There are two ways for Google to gain access to the market, be a partner to any of the present telecom company or step up for the 3G auction which is set to take place on January 14, 2010. It makes complete sense for Google to bid for this auction.

This is yesterday’s report. The mobile internet service was not working yesterday. ———————————- I’m using my third and last mobile battery now, so short report. Woke up after a very cold night. Then realized that everything was wet. Outside there was a fine mist, and there was just as much of it on and in the tent. Because the ground last night was not flat, I had slid down one side, and the sleeping bag was wet as were my feet. Walking the Great Wall has been easier today as it is flatter here, and therefore little erosion.

Their media person just contacted me today and asked if I would be interested in reviewing the iPhone version, so I’m looking forward to getting reacquainted as well as exploring the new iPhone-specific UI.
