Canada’s TELUS will officially announce that its nation-wide HSPA network will go live on November 5th. TELUS will be the only carrier with 3 networks to their name, CDMA, MiKE (PTT) and HSPA. The new next generation wireless network is the latest enhancement to TELUS’ multi-network mobile strategy, offering customers the technology for increased wireless data download speeds of up to 21 megabits per second, access to a world class selection of compelling mobile devices and international roaming service to more than 200 countries .

We’ve known for some time that the Dallas area would be among the first nationwide to get Sprint’s 4G wireless network this year, but Sprint and Clearwire got more specific yesterday , saying that 4G will be going live locally and in a handful of other cities next month: Clearwire and Sprint will each launch 4G service in Charlotte, Greensboro and Raleigh, North Carolina; Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth and San Antonio, Texas in November. Service will be available from both companies in Honolulu and Maui, Hawaii in early December.
